When a sales order is created from a sales quotation, it closes the quotation document completely or partially; if all the items of a quotation are transferred to an order, then it is said to be completely closed and if "some" items are transferred to an order, then the quotation is partially closed. Viewing Documents That Close the Document
The follow-up transaction for a sales order can be a sale and/or an invoice. When a sale or invoice is created from a sales document, the document is listed under this section. You can see the document that closed the sales order by clicking on the row.
