Business days may vary in different countries around the world.
Although working days may be different, holidays may vary from country to country and working hours.
If you work with a company that has a different work schedule than yours, or if you have an office, branch, or company in one of the countries that uses a different work schedule, you may need to define more than one work schedule in the system.
You can create a calendar and specify Companies , because that's where the calendar will apply. If you want the calendar to apply to all companies in a business, you can select "All Companies".
Calendar Status
To validate the status of a calendar, " must be set to Active".
Determining Calendar Days
Before saving the "New Calendar" screen, under the "Calendar operations" tab, the days of a week are listed.
You can select a "Day Type" for each day of the week and specify "Job Start Times" and "Job End Times".
You can select "Year number" and "Calendar Start Year" from the drop-down boxes.
In the calendar, the starting year will be whatever you chose and the years will be listed according to the year number you chose.
If the "Create Calendar Days" checkbox is selected (the default setting), calendar days are created as soon as you save the screen.
Calendar Information
Under the "Monthly Calendar" tab, you can select a "Year" and "Month" from the drop-down boxes and view the selected calendar.
Shift Working Hours Information
You can enter the following shift information in HH:MM format. (H: Hour, M: Minute)
Job Start Time 1
Job Completion Time 1
Job Start Time 2
Job Completion Time 2
Based on the time information you enter, the system automatically calculates and displays the working hour duration.
